As you know, social media can be a very vital tool for your business. Better understanding your audience/clientele begins by really trying to build a relationship with them. In our previous blog, we shared a few simple ways you can attempt to garner more engagement and interaction with your Facebook audience. This week, we'll be sharing a few more of these tips.

Building Facebook Interaction and Engagement

  1. Asking questions - This is one of the easiest ways to inspire fans to comment and share their opinions. Posts that don't ask a question, risk the chance of people briefly reading the article/post and moving on.

Questions can range from encouraging feedback in the form of personal stories/experiences or can be as simple as asking your audience to choose between something. Simpler questions, like the one's requiring an audience to "choose," might make people more inclined to comment, since they won't need to spend much time or effort into what they write.

  2. Tips - Sharing great ideas and tips add value to the community you build online. Because tips and ideas are engaging, it makes your audience more likely to react through commenting or sharing.

  3. Quotes - You may not think it, but quotes not only are one of the easiest ways to gain Likes and Shares on Facebook, it also happens to be one of the most popular. Quotes have a tendency of getting more Likes and Shares compared to Comments because they are often inspirational, which makes it personal in nature.
